Study Links ACEs to Healthcare Access and Prevalence of Diabetes
A recent study published by DPBH faculty member Dr. George Slavich along with researchers at Stanford University found that Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are associated with a greater prevalence of diabetes and associated disease conditions, and that ACEs predict worse healthcare access.
