The UCLA Division of Population Behavioral Health utilizes technology to improve quality of care, including the management, coordination, and delivery of care.
The Division’s current efforts include:
- Identifying and evaluating existing innovations that support integrated behavioral health care
- Offering innovative and evidence-based technological platforms designed to provide access to high-quality behavioral health prevention and treatment services for patients and their families
- Supporting the use of Web-based, real-time behavioral health screening, outcomes monitoring, and intervention services
- Creating opportunities to enhance patient and family engagement and experience with behavioral health care
Future Goals
Technological innovation will help advance evidence-based behavioral health practices in medical and community settings, including the integrated implementation of telebehavioral health, educational services (“Virtual Home Visiting”) and mobile applications to support patient and family engagement, education, and skill development.
