Communications specialist
Elaiza Armas is a visual storyteller and digital content creator who uses her background in journalism to make complex information digestible. She is a fierce advocate for women’s empowerment and believes there is power in building a shared language with her surrounding community. Elaiza obtained her bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism from California State University, Fullerton. She has filled the role of copy editor, layout editor, editor and contributing writer. Today, Elaiza is the communications specialist for the DMH + UCLA Prevention Center of Excellence.
