Mrs. Skala is a Model Supervisor for the FOCUS program and Site Director for Norfolk Naval Base and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story in Virginia and Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, California. She has significant clinical experience working with adults, children and families to include treating emotionally and behaviorally challenged children and their families, as well as treating adults with various mental health needs. As an active Marine Spouse, Mrs. Skala is keenly aware both professionally and personally of the needs and many strengths of military families. Mrs. Skala is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and her M.A. in Counseling from Doane College.
