Resilience Trainer,
Veteran Family Wellness Center

Kiana serves as a Resilience Trainer at the UCLA/VA Veteran Family Wellness Center (VFWC). Kiana comes to the VFWC after earning her Master’s in Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles, at the Luskin School of Public Affairs. Having experience working across the lifespan, Kiana has supported both the whole health of teenagers within LAUSD schools  and Veterans at the Sepulveda VA Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she served within the interdisciplinary PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team) team. Kiana is most passionate about offering support to those experiencing trauma, grief, and loss and those that may be currently encountering a challenging time in their life. She is honored to support Veterans and their families that come to the VFWC and strives to help them feel respected and heard while working together to create new beginnings.
