Jessica Moore-Tyson, LCMHC,NCC: Ms. Moore-Tyson is a Model Supervisor for FOCUS at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She previously worked as the Site Director for FOCUS sites in Okinawa and Camp Lejeune. She has worked extensively with military families in a number of organizations and capacities, including as a Parent Educator for the Parents as Teacher Heroes at Home program, as a Volunteer Victim Advocate, and with the NMFA Operation Purple Healing Adventures and Retreats. She has received specialized training in Supporting Returning Veterans and Their Families, Working with Military Children Experiencing Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Prolonged Exposure, Child Forensic Interviewing, Working with Wounded Warriors and Coming Together Around Military Families. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University.
