Early Childhood Core
Laura Braafladt is a licensed clinical social worker with a background in early education and infant and early childhood mental health. Laura is the Community Partnerships Program Manager for the Early Childhood Core, where she supports partnership building for SEEDS and supports the DMH + UCLA Early Childhood Fellowship.
Laura earned her Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach and her Bachelors in Psychology with a Minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA. Laura is a DMH+UCLA Early Childhood Fellow and a graduate of the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME) Trainers Program. She is endorsed as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist through the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health.
She is passionate about supporting educators, children, and families through relationship-based approaches that strengthen connection, reflection, and emotional well-being for both children and adults.
